Five itineraries having "Notti di Stelle" apartments as a starting point, which will lead us to the discover of a rich and diversified territory, from all the viewpoints: naturalistic, cultural, historic, culinary. A territory whose uniqueness lies in the fact that completely different environments can be found at a very close distance one from each other: the sea - with two different types of coastal environments - the Karst plateau and its underground development, the hill wine region of Italian and Slovene Collio, the Plain and, at one hour distance, the mountains. And all this richness matches the diversity that makes our territory a melting pot of peoples: Italians, Friulians, Slovenes, each with its own traditions and flavours. A melting pot that finds its highest expression in the multiethnic city par excellence: Trieste, a true wealth of treasures.
These five itineraries obviously cannot include all the interesting places to visit, but their purpose is to let you capture - by hopefully not banal paths - the essence of a territory, and then leaving room for advice and information that we are looking forward to giving you in person about all the things this short guide has left out.
